F.A.Q.s What options are available? · There are many options for graduation announcements. The most popular and economical option are postcards printed on two sides with a high-quality color laser printer on 110 lb white cardstock; finished size is 1/4 letter (5.5” x 4.25”). There will be a white border all the way around the printed area. However, “full-bleed” (edge-to-edge) options are available, as are 1 side glossy/1 side matte. Folded notecards are also an option, as well as custom designs. What is the process? · If you are interested in having me design your announcements, please contact me via email (cari@aworkofheartbycari.com); you can email high-quality photographs (professional photos must be accompanied by a release) and the information you would like me to include in the announcement, along with any ideas, graphics, or special interests you would like me to include. Please also let me know what the school and/or class colors are. Please specify which option you would like for your announcements, or let me know which options you are interested in. I will take the photos and information and work up a design and email it to you; you tell me what changes you would like to make to the design, and we work together to get a final product you are happy with. When you provide me with the number of announcements you would like, and I will provide a final estimate. Production then starts. If you are outside the Cedar Rapids, Iowa metro area, I will ship your announcements via priority mail, insured with delivery confirmation. How many photographs should I send? · I have designed announcements using anywhere between 1-15 photos. I usually select a “focal” photo - some photos can be collaged, some can be used as background images. How and when do I pay? · Payment is due on order; I accept cash, checks, and credit cards via PayPal. What if I need more than I ordered? · Reprints are currently available at the same rate as the first run; extra shipping charges will be applied if necessary.
