Each of us travels the journey of life … A Work of Heart By Cari is a compilation of the skills my journey has taught me thus far. I believe my talents, and the opportunities to hone them, were bestowed upon me for the purpose of enriching other lives. I desire to give credit where credit is due … to glorify my Creator.
My roots go back to the Black Hills of South Dakota. During my childhood, the foundations of my business knowledge were laid during the summers I spent at my grandparents’ dream, Wade’s Gold Mill.
The majority of my life, though, has been spent in eastern Iowa. I grew up in Manchester, IA, and later graduated from Luther College in Decorah, IA. My management and management information systems degrees were put to the test in the marketing department at Rockwell Collins, where I worked and enjoyed phenomenal opportunities for 8 years.
After resigning from Rockwell Collins in pursuit of a life-change, I thrived while working for a local Lemstone Christian Bookstore. I gave up my ministry there for the ministry of being a stay-at-home mom in July 2004.
Through A Work of Heart By Cari, I continue to learn, grow, and give back. Thank you for taking the time to learn about me—I look forward to getting to know you and serving you.
